This month we caught up with Associate Dentist Dr. Kamil Miechowicz, who works at Quay Dental Care.
Kamil has been based at his Paignton practice for the last 10 years, he relocated to Devon after completing his training in Poland.
Things did not work for well with his original accountant.
Kamil said: “They just weren’t very proactive and it was tricky to get information and they didn’t offer any solutions or advice. I was looking for someone smart in accountancy.”
After receiving a recommendation for SmallBiz founder Nathan, Kamil got in touch. He has been a customer for five years now.
“It was completely different straight away, he (Nathan) responded really quickly and was incredibly organised. He is always offering solutions to choose from, regarding taxations and savings. Nathan had lots of ideas about being tax efficient – what will work, or won’t work. Good at planning, really good advice for expenses and things like that.
“He knew a lot about the foreign tax system, which is quite different and he acted like a guide, as they are both two completely different systems.”
Kamil now enjoys more time getting on with his day-to-day job.
He said: “There’s no doubt about it, I much prefer to focus my time on the dentistry and let someone else worry about tax efficiency. There’s a lot of trust we go back so many years, I have recommended Nathan to a number of colleagues and friends.”
The long relationship has meant Kamil has got to know the whole Bizzers team,
“Yeah it’s good, I also speak to Katherine and Dom, we send messages and stay in touch.”
